Description
Elegant pink and royal blue handwoven Ikat silk pochampally saree by the weavers of Pochampally HWCS, Nalgonda district, Telangana state. The pink saree body is highlighted with small ikat motifs in white. Intricately woven elaborate peacock motifs are designed as a royal blue stripe near the lower saree border. Golden zari interwoven with royal blue silk yarn stripes are designed for the saree borders. The pallu is traditionally woven with thin golden zari temple stripes in royal blue.
