Walnut brown and brown handwoven Sambalpuri cotton saree from the weavers of Sambalpur, Odisha. The pattern for this saree evolves through a process of dyeing the warp and weft threads prior to inter-weaving. This technique of ikat weaving on a traditional handloom is a beautiful art of "poetry on the loom". This saree is woven with traditional dancing girl motifs on the body. Rudraksha dobby designs are woven on the border of the saree. The floral stripe design on the pallu adds to the beauty of this handloom saree. This saree comes with matching blouse piece.
