Mythology centric design motifs are what defines an authentic baluchari sari. Depicting iconic scenes from the epic stories of Ramayana and Mahabharata, each of these sarees is skillfully woven by the weavers of Bankura cluster at Madhabganj Baidyapara, West Bengal.
The major part of the sari pallu depicts the scenes of Nouka bilas and Saraswati.
Weaver Sanjay Das has skillfully handwoven this sari using Bishnupur pure mulberry katan silk yarn. High quality fine zari yarns are used to highlight the exquisite motifs.
