Mythology centric design motifs are what defines an authentic baluchari sari. Depicting iconic scenes from the epic stories of Ramayana and Mahabharata, each of these sarees is skillfully woven by the weavers of Bankura cluster at Madhabganj Baidyapara, West Bengal.
This particular sari is a pictorial representation of dancing Apsara with flowers in some rows and gurukul combat training in Mahabharata.
Weaver Bapi Saha has skillfully handwoven this sari using Bishnupur pure mulberry katan silk yarn.
