Description :
Elegant handwoven Ikat rajkot style silk pochampally saree by the weavers of Pochampally Weavers Co-operative Society from Pochampally in Nalgonda district, Telangana state. Small ikat dot motifs are highlighted on the blue saree body. Pink silk yarn woven and highlighted in Golden zari stripes are designed for the saree borders with ikat deer motifs stripe woven at the lower saree border. The pallu is traditionally woven with thin golden zari stripes and abstract designs. This pochampally saree holds the prestigious tag of Handloom Mark of India which certifies the authenticity and genuinely of this product. The Pochampally Ikat weaving technique is one of most complex tie-dye technique. The weavers at Pochampally have mastered this art over centuries.
